Gary Snapper MA LLP LPC, is a native of Kalamazoo and the founder of Cognitive Behavior Solutions and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Limited License Psychologist. Gary received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his professional degrees from Western Michigan University. Gary has been providing psychological services to the Kalamazoo region for over 13 years. Gary has worked in a variety of clinical settings that have provided Gary with clinical expertise in evidence-based therapies for a wide range of psychological conditions that include:
- personality disorders,
- eating disorders,
- anxiety disorders,
- depression,
- Aspergers or High Functioning Autism or NeuroDiversity,
- adolescent issues.
Gary has been treating eating disorders for two decades and has been a board member of the Southwest Michigan Eating Disorder Association (SMEDA). Gary is also the team leader for Kalamazoo DBT, one of a few groups in the SW Michigan area that specializes in Dialectic Behavior Therapy.
